Hello Hello Its YusukeZ.
We are gonna head to Japan from honolulu airport.
But Editor! Is that all the luggage you brought?
Editor "I don't like to carry alot of things"
Well, you need some things atleast.
そして、関空に着きました。
初めての関空、初めての関西です。わくわく。
And then we landed in Kanku Airport.
First time in Kanku, First time in Kansai.
Very excited.
早速電車に乗りました。
編集長はお茶とオロナミンCを買って飲んでました。
編集長「オーイエスオロナミン！」
So we took the train.
Editor was drinking the OronaminC and tea he bought.
Editor "Oh! yes! Oronamin!"
そして、夜は編集長のお好きな回転寿司へ連れてってもらいました。
スシローというお店だそうです。
We went to a Kaiten sushi where hennshuuchou liked.
The restaurants name was sushiro-
ハワイの回転寿司とは比べ物にならないほどええ感じのメニューが豊富。
驚いたのがお茶もセルフサービスで粉をお湯に混ぜるだけ。
Compared to hawaii's kaiten sushi Wow! Plenty things looking good on the menu.
I was also amazed that they have instant green tea and hot water on the table. I think it means, please help yourself.
ほんで、ネタがなんちゅうか新鮮です。
回転寿司がこんなにも違うとは。
もしかしたらハワイの本格的なお寿司屋さんよりおいしいネタがありました。
ハワイのすし屋のレベルが伺えますよね。
しゃりは自動につくる機械があるので握り方は仕方がありませんが、お米がハワイとはまた全然違うんですよね。編集長ご馳走様。
And the grade of fish they use is unbelievable, so fresh.
It maybe better than hawaii's sushi restaurant.
Can you imagine where hawaii stands for sushi?
The rice was Ok. Its made by machine but it was good just because they use good rice.
うんまかったです。
編集長より、編集長の家族より、一番食ってしまった。
It was really good.
I ate more than editor, editors family, I ate the most.
そして、次の日は電車で京都へ向かうだっす。
今年初めて乗る電車は妙でちょっと嬉しくなってしまいました。
The next day, We headed to Kyoto with the train.
Riding the train for the first time this year made me feel weirdly happy.
待ち合わせ時間より、少しはやめに着いたので、
編集長が京都の鴨川を見せてくれました。いやー本当にいいとこっすね～でも、さっむい！
I got to Kyoto a little early so Editor showed me the Kamogawa.
woa what a nice place but, Its SO Cold!!
そして、京都のオフィスまでの間にある有名な通路、先斗町。
これってなんて読むんですか？
編集長「先斗町って書いてぽんとちょうって読むんやで」
なかなか覚えにくいですね。
Theres a street called pontochou, its in between our office and the train station.
Editor how do you read the kanji for this place?
Editor "you read it ponto cho-"
hmm... hard to remember.
たっかいお店が並んでいる通りだそうです。
普通の人はあんまり行かないみたいですね。聞いた話ですけど。
編集長「ええ感じの通りやね」
This street is lined up with expensive restaurants.
But regular people don't really come here I heard.
Editor "Nice street yeah"
京都のオフィスに着いたらランチを食べるのですがっちさんがポルシェで迎えに来てくれました。
小さなポルシェに4人で乗り込みました、いやーポルシェいいですね。
編集長「ビュンビュン飛ばすやろ？」
ええ感じですね。ちなみに大文字山が見えました。
When we got the office in Kyoto, We went to go eat lunch. Sugacchi san came to pick us up in his porsche. We actually fit 4people in his porsche. Porsche is nice.
Editor "he speeds like crazy yeah?"
I like it. Oh and he also showed me Daimonji Yama too.
そして、ユースケZが今まで食べた一番おいしいラーメンをいただきました。
『中華そばますたに』
編集長「ユースケにこれ食わしたかったんよね」
I had the best ramen I've ever had in my life.
Chuka soba masutani.

ランチより早めの時間に行ったのに店内はメッチャ混んでました。
We actualy went a little earlier than lunch time but it was already crowded.
まず驚いたのは水のコップの大きさです。
コブシよりちっちゃ！
I was amazed by the size of the water glass. Smaller than my knuckle.
で、これこれ！
ラーメン！背脂が浮いています！うっひょー！！
これだと何系になるんですかね？
編集長「うーん分からんけど醤油とんこつに一番近いんちゃう？」
その頃すがっちさんは黙っておられました。
編集長「この店来るとすがっちいっつも怒ってるみたいやん」
すがっち「いや、今日は客を連れてきているんやでと態度で表してんねん」
あはは、ありがとうございます。
ANd then....Here it is!
Ramen with a thick layer of liquid fat floating.

What kind of ramen does this classify under?
Editor "hmmm... I don't know but I think its closest to Shoyu Tonkotsu?"
Until our ramen came sugacchi san kept silent.
Editor "He always become quiet as if he's mad when we come to this restaurant"
Sugacchi "Well I'm showing by attitude that I've brought guests today"

ラーメンのあと京都で勉強して。
編集長の家、大阪へ戻り串かつを食べに出かけました。
After ramen we studied at Kyoto.
Then returned to Osaka, where Editors house is. We left to go eat Kushikatsu.
こんなお店ハワイにはありません。うはは！自分で衣をつけて、揚げるみたいな。おもしろい！
Hehe! you get to put your own panko on and fry it! Interesting! Never seen any restaurant like this in Hawaii.

もう色んな具が串に刺さってるので色んな具を自分で取りにいきます。
Sorry for the bad picture. You go an grab what ever you want. Its already stabbed on the stick.
そして、こうやってじゅわじゅわ～って揚げます。
コツはお腹一杯になってから気がついたんですが、衣を薄くつけて揚げ時間に注意すること。
編集長「店の味がうまくなってる」
うむむ～関西最高！
さて、食べてばっかりですが、一応勉強メインですよ～写真は勉強会が真剣すぎて撮れませんでした。（忘れていただけだったりして）
明日は何食べれるんだろう。。。（おい）

I realized after I got full but its better when you put just a thin layer of crust.

Wow Kansai is so great!
It seems like I was just eating but I actually came to Study. Only thing the studying session was too serious I couldn't take a picture though. (Maybe I just forgot?)
